The Gwiae Room
Sarangchae, called Gwaninjae(寬忍齋), has been burned down and restored in modern times. It is a space that connects the past, present, and future.
It is a beautiful space in exquisite harmony with the 200-year-old birch trees in the main building, with Daemunchae, treadmill, Jangdokdae, and yard, centering around Sarangchae.

If you sit on the Maru of big Anchae called Guamjae (龜巖齋), you can see the peaks of Mt. Bohyeon between the mountains with the scent of wood from the 260-year-old traditional house and the occasional sounds of birds and grass insects, which will let you enjoy the peaceful moment where nobleman used to rest.

Haengrangchae(行廊舍) means a room attached to the gate, which means that the house is equipped with a Haengrangbang.
Usually, it is composed of stables, servants' rooms, and storage from the main gate. It has 3 spaces, with 2 rooms for guests and 1 for a bathroom.

If you walk along Gwiae Traditional House and pass through the bamboo forest, you will reach Gwiae Pavilion(龜厓亭), where Suwollu(水月褸) is located. This is where noblemen enjoyed the scenery, writing and drawing pictures in the old days.
Gwiae Pavilion(龜厓亭) was built in 1915 (the 2nd year of King Gojong), and has a beautiful view of the lotus field and hexagon pavilion with the sound of wind blowing in the bamboo forest, which adds charm to the feeling of strolling in the Joseon Dynasty.
